Make a permanent impression by engraving a name or personal message on your back scratchers. Our state of the art laser engraving system can upgrade your back scratcher from a great gift to a truly memorable one. The laser cuts your message deep into the wood in your choice of six different fonts. The cut is deep, very sharp and high resolution; it is not an understatement to say that the pictures shown here really do not do the engraved product justice. Great for that family special occasion, for corporate gift giving or for other promotional product use.

The standard* imprint area on the handle is 3" x 3/4" on either the inside or the outside of the back scratcher handle. You select the font of your choice from a drop down menu in the shopping cart then type in your message into a text box on the page. Or, instead of text, you can choose to have us produce your back scratchers using custom artwork.

Features of our laser engraved back scratchers include:

• Your choice of hardwoods - We can engrave your text message on the handle of any of our signature hardwood back scratchers. You select the hardwood of your choice from our walnut, cedar, aromatic cedar, cherry, oak, maple, rosewood, Darth Scratcher or Premium Select walnut handles using a drop down menu in the shopping cart. (There is an additional $10 charge if you choose the Premium Select walnut back scratcher handle.)

• Flexible position - we can engrave your text message on the inside or the outside of the back scratcher handle; the "inside" of the handle is the same side as the back scratcher edge. Engraving always starts closest to the hole in the handle. If you want the same message engraved on both sides of the handle there is a $3 additional charge. If you want a different message engraved on the inside and outside of the back scratcher handle there is a $5 additional charge.

• Flexible message - Just select your font from the six fonts we know engrave well (select using a drop down menu in the shopping cart), one or two imprint lines** and inside or outside handle engraving then type your message text in the shopping cart text box and we'll do the rest. Or, for a fully custom look you can send us your own artwork*** for one or both sides of the back scratcher handle for a totally custom item.

• Quantity Discounts - order multiple back scratchers with the same message and your cost goes down. Great for holiday or special occasion gift giving and they make great corporate promotional gifts.

• 100% American Made - all parts used in the construction these back scratchers are made from American hardwood and all back scratchers are 100% made in America.

• Delivery to meet your schedule - standard production orders of up to 100 pieces normally ship within 10 working days from receipt of your order except for the holiday season from November 15 through December 31 when standard production goes up to 15 working days to accommodate our surge of holiday orders. NOTE: For orders larger than 100 pieces please give us a call. For orders with custom artwork, shipment times are from your approval of the artwork proof. Production times represent production time from our receipt of order to shipment; they DO NOT include shipping time in transit.

*PLEASE NOTE: The standard engraving options shown here are but a small fraction of the engraving we can perform with our state of the art laser engraving system. **IMPRINT LINES: Single line imprints are boldest and best for names or very short messages. Two line imprints give you more text room but, naturally, the text size is somewhat smaller:
 

We will always center your message in the image area and use the largest size text that fits into the image area (3" x 3/4"). A good tip is to experiment with your messages in a word processor or paint program using a font similar to the font you plan to engrave.

***MECHANICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CUSTOM IMPRINT: One time charge of $25/image for each custom image. Minimum 600 dpi positive artwork. Maximum engraved image size is 3" x 3/4" (1800 x 450 @ 600 dpi). Black image on white background only. Larger artwork is OK - we will resize to fit image area and email a proof to verify orientation and placement. Production will not begin until proof is approved. After you complete your purchase email your artwork to: artwork@backscratcherworld.com with your order number and any special instructions.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Laser engraving is a custom process which permanently marks the back scratcher. We will replace defective items but there are no refunds for laser engraved items.

Because of state and local health department regulations in the State of Washington, back scratchers are considered personal hygiene items and may only be returned for credit if in the original unopened packaging materials.
